Join the WELLderness Outdoor Wellness Series at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens
Join Charles to experience a transformative outdoor wellness event that nurtures both your physical and mental health. As part of the WELLderness: An Outdoor Wellness Series, this session will guide you through practices designed to help you connect deeply with yourself and the environment.
What to Expect:
•Mind & Body Warmup (15 minutes): Ease into the session with a gentle warmup to prepare your body and mind.
•HIIT Workout (30 minutes): Elevate your heart rate and build strength with a high-intensity interval training session.
•Restorative Yoga (30 minutes): Recenter yourself with a restorative yoga session focused on relaxation and alignment.
•Guided Meditation & Breathwork (15 minutes): Conclude with a peaceful meditation to calm the mind and rejuvenate the spirit.
Event Details:
•Date & Time: Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM. (Check-in opens at 10:45 AM)
•Location: Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, 1550 Anacostia Ave Northeast, Washington, DC 20019. Meet at the boardwalk.
•What to Bring: Water bottle, yoga mat, towel, snack, bug spray, sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses).
Getting There:
•By Car: Plenty of parking is available at the park entrance on Anacostia Ave.
•By Metro: The park is 1 mile from Deanwood Metro Station and 1.3 miles from Minnesota Ave Station on the Orange Line.
•By Foot or Bike: Access via the Anacostia River Trail.
